The only way to collect information about the user is to be transparent and thoughtful : don't ask users to provide useless information.
What’sthe difference between Required, Conditional and Optional?
- Required fields must be filled out to save the credit as complete, calculate the score for the credit, and make the credit available for inclusion in a published report.
- Conditionally required fields must be completed if certain conditions are met. For example if an institution responds “Yes” that it has a certain program, then a description of that program may be required (trigger for each conditionally required field).
- Optional fields are not required to save the credit as complete and have no impact on scoring. They are included to give participants the opportunity to provide additional context. While it's not obligatory, marking the optional fields does lighten the user's cognitive load.
Example:
[{"displaySettingInfo":"[{\"isFullLayout\":false,\"layoutWidthRatio\":\"\",\"showBlogMetadata\":true,\"includeSuggestedAndRelatedBlogs\":true,\"enableLazyLoad\":true,\"quoteStyle\":\"1\",\"bigHeadingFontStyle\":\"1\",\"postPictureFrameStyle\":\"1\",\"isFaqLayout\":false,\"isIncludedCaption\":false,\"faqLayoutTheme\":\"1\",\"isSliderLayout\":false}]"},{"articleSourceInfo":"[{\"sourceName\":\"\",\"sourceValue\":\"\"}]"},{"privacyInfo":"[{\"isOutsideVietnam\":false}]"},{"tocInfo":"[{\"isEnabledTOC\":true,\"isAutoNumbering\":false,\"isShowKeyHeadingWithIcon\":false}]"}]
